McKenzie Community Track & Field
Provides an outstanding multi-use venue for rural community engagement,
education, economic opportunities, wellness and sports
McKenzie Track is situated along the scenic McKenzie River. Take Highway 126, 40 minutes from Eugene to Blue River into a little slice of heaven.
• McKenzie Track has a working board of 14 members who volunteer their time, talents and money.
• Officers are elected, and committees handle protocol and tasks.
• McKenzie Track hosts high school, middle school & district meets, large invitational & all comers meets.
The McKenzie Track was founded to achieve three goals:
•Provide a track & field facility for the public and McKenzie Schools
•Provide a wellness setting for the community
•Contribute to the economic vitality of the community
The property and funds for construction of these facilities are the result of generous donations from Aaron and Marie Jones, NIKE, The Ford Family Foundation, Seneca and many local residents.
The McKenzie River Arts Festival is the annual fundraiser held in August.
Sponsors and grants help fund the opperating costs of the McKenzie River – Arts Festival:
Security, Marketing, Activities, Supplies and Equipment.
The MCTF board established an endowment fund with the Oregon Community Foundation
